I had to be up and moving early this morning for a 7:45 appointment to review my choices for Medicare coverage for 2027 and I ended up sticking with my current plan. It has a $59 monthly premium but I qualify for a discounted rate and that will bring it down to the $25/month range. The $0 premium plans were not an option for me and I chose to stick with United Healthcare.
I got an email from Jill this morning telling me that Charlotte and her friend were going to McAllister College today as a Model UN (an academic simulation where students act as diplomats representing UN member states or historical figures to debate and resolve global issues). Yes, I am a proud Grandma!
Yesterday, I got together with seven cousins and 2nd cousins (or their spouses) for lunch at Kozy Nuk. What a nice turnout and it was great to see them all.
