What a nice day! We just haven’t had much time to spend with Pat other than for meals which have been great. The hottest day of the season so far and we decided to go for a hike on the Yahara River Trail at Lake Farm Park. I have been wanting to check out the campground there to see if it might be a possible future consideration - probably not because the sights are tight, all out in the open, and they have electric only hookups.

We managed a 3-mile hike to the lake and back to where the car was parked. When we got back to Pat’s house, he cooked up some brats and Tracey made roasted broccoli and cauliflower and a chopped salad. All was yummy and we had some fun conversation.

One more stop at the grocery store to stock up on Johnsonville Summer Sausage (it just doesn’t get much better than that) and a few veggies and we were back home. I already bought a case of Spotted Cow. We took naps and enjoyed the AC of the trailer.
